Summer Fun Program 2017

The New Bedford Boys & Girls Club will once again host its annual Summer Fun Program for boys and girls ages 7 to 13 years.  This program is aimed at providing physical, recreational and educational activities in a safe, wholesome environment.

(2) July 3* - July 7
(3) July 10 - July 14
(4) July 17 - July 21
(5) July 24 - July 28
(6) July 31 - August 4
(7) August 7 - August 11
(8) August 14 - August 18
(9) August 21 - August 25
(10) August 28 - September 1
*Club will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th
All Summer Fun participants must be Club members. Annual Club membership is $50 (good until 12/31/16).  Click here to print 2017 membership form

One-Week Session is $50 per child/$40 for additional children in same family.
Save $$$ by attending in Two-Week Session blocks!

Two-Week Session is $80 per child/$70 for additional child in same family.

Weekly fees are charged at a full weeks rate regardless of the number of days a member attends.  NO REFUNDS

Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday
9:00am to 4:00pm

Early drop-off at 8:00am or late pick-up at 5:00pm will be provided for a fee of $5 per day ($10 for both).  Please notify staff member at the time of registration.  In fairness to staff members please pick up your child promptly at 4:00pm.

Any child not picked up by 4:00pm will be subject to the $5 late pick-up fee.

Other Programs
Golf, Circus Arial Arts, Music, Arts & Crafts, Healthy Foods, Tennis
Field Trips
In addition to Club-based programs members will participate in activities outside the Club.  These may include:
Beach/Swimming, Roller Skating, Buttonwood Park Zoo, Lloyd Center and Myles Standish State Park.

-Field Trips are subject to change due to weather, transportation, etc.
-Field Trip flyers and permission slips will be available at the front desk.
-Each field trip will have a sign-up deadline that will be strictly adhered to.  The charge of the field trip must be paid at the time the permission slip is due.
-Club rules apply whether we are in the building or on a field trip.
-Most field trips will require walking with some involving transportation.

Transportation will be available through our Outreach Program.  Transportation will be provided for our members along a selected route.  Parents who need transportation for their child should inquire upon enrollment.  We will attempt to accommodate transportation needs to the best of our ability.

The Free Breakfast & Lunch Program will be available to all our Club members through the New Bedford Recreational Department.  There will be no free breakfast or lunch the first week!

The Club also has a concession stand where your child will be able to purchase food at an affordable price.
